I see myself as part of a huge ecosystem
whose creatures are all created equal.
This means that I am just as worthy as an elephant, ant, insect, or even a microbe.
This is because all living beings, just like me, have their own role in the larger ecosystem. Yet we must ask ourselves, what role do we humans play in the ecosystem nowadays? Do you still see yourself as part of the ecosystem?
Many people have withdrawn themselves from this ecosystem as a result of the significant changes within society, which in itself has become very detached from nature.
People “take” from nature for their own survival, but it is very often “forgotten” or not considered “important” to “give back” to nature.
"If we are part of nature, we must be careful
not to destroy ourselves!".
As the ecosystem is no longer enclosed, plants and animals are depreciating. It is necessary that we re-evaluate the importance of nature, animals, and plants, and for them to become a bigger part of our lives again.
I want to use 'Bellis Perennis' to inspire people to respect nature again and see themselves as part of it, but also to respect the laws of nature and live in harmony with them. This way, nature gives us the healing we so urgently need.
I want to inspire people to see the world through new eyes, to recognize, respect, admire, and celebrate the beauty of nature and humanity.
This beauty has the right to be preserved!
